Supporting Mum and Baby from Bump, Birth and Bouncing Baby.
Suzanne is passionate about health and well-being and has been interested in holistic therapies from an early age. Wanting to expand her horizons, she lived in Japan for three years where she studied aikido, yoga, shiatsu and experienced a unique and beautiful style of Japanese life. During this time she also travelled extensively throughout Asia, which provided her with the opportunity to experience and learn the many different styles of massage and therapies unique to each country and developed her love of teaching yoga.
When she taught her first Mum & Baby classes, Suzanne realised the impact she had and how much joy she was able to bring to both mum and baby with massage and yoga. She realised she wanted to specialise in providing the full range of massage and yoga to mums in their journey into motherhood.
Suzanne qualified as a Massage Therapist in 2002 and has continued to train in a variety of therapies. In 2004 she qualified as a yoga teacher with YTTC and enjoys running classes for beginners and advanced practitioners. Trained through Birthlight she also offers pre and post natal yoga classes, baby yoga and baby massage. She is a tutor for Gateway Workshops, teaching one-day workshops in a range of therapies in Belfast.
Zenbu reflects the influences Suzanne has gained from around the world. She has a natural energy, which paired with her enthusiasm and fun sense of humour always make clients and students feel at ease. She believes that regular treatments paired with regular yoga practise can make a real and wonderful difference to our quality of life.
She is excited to expand her passion with serving mums into their journey into motherhood with mum and baby classes for massage and yoga in addition to providing massage from pregnancy to post partum.
It is Suzanne’s intention to go that step further to provide a full range of support in a comprehensive way to mums with her ZenMum online community including support in nutrition and healthy recipes, fitness and strength through yoga and self care in the form of meditation, relaxation and recovery.
